Together We Give - 2026 Turkey Drive
Supporting Lorena Elementary School Families Recovering from the Lineage Fire
The PCAUSE 2026 Turkey Donation Drive is partnering with Lorena Elementary School to provide complete Thanksgiving dinners to families who face financial hardship, compounded by the recent devastating impacts of the Lineage Fire.
Empowering Education & Community Recovery Through Nutrition
-
Nourishing Academic Potential: Proper nutrition is foundational to a child’s ability to learn, focus, and thrive in the classroom. By eliminating hunger over the holiday break, we ensure students return to school ready to learn and succeed.
-
Restoring Stability and Morale: Recovering from the disruption of the Lineage Fire poses immense emotional and financial stress. Delivering a complete Thanksgiving meal restores a sense of dignity, warmth, and hope during a critical time of community healing.
-
Fighting Local Food Insecurity: Groceries and emergency expenses strain vulnerable households. This drive bridges the gap for low-income families, providing essential food relief when it is needed most.
Our mission for the 2026 Food for the Holidays is to deliver 150 complete turkey dinners to families in need.
For a family in need, a holiday dinner is so much more than a plate of food—it’s a moment of dignity, connection, and hope.
